T-34 MENTOR BEECHCRAFT FAMILY RED STAR

Welcome to George Baker Aviation, New Smyrna Beach Florida.  We are based on the north eastern side of the New Smyrna Beach municipal airport / Jack Bolt Field (KEVB) with easy access to the beautiful beaches of Florida's eastern seaboard, the exciting attractions of Daytona Beach, and a short distance away from shopping in downtown Orlando.

Baker Aviation started as a project shop for our founder George Baker as he began building his 1956 Beechcraft  T-34 Mentor in 1997.  This hobby, driven by friends and clients

in the T-34 community, has helped Baker Aviation grow into the thriving maintenance facility it is today.  Our staff is highly skilled in all aspects of restoring, repairing, and maintaining the Beechcraft family of light aircraft, and pride ourselves in the recognition we have received for producing high quality T-34 Mentors.

In 2006 Baker Aviation fully opened it's doors to all the Beechcraft family.  Since then, we have added many Bonanza and Baron friends who trust their aircraft to our care.

Beginning in 2007 we were happy to announce our support of the Yak and CJ owners association.  We offer full service for all Soviet Yakolevs and Chinese CJ-6A Nanchangs and are gaining more and more experience with every new customer.  We have already gained strong knowledge in the airframes, systems, modifications, and radial engines.

In January 2012 Mr. Baker officially retired and gave me the oportunity to purchase the business and continue building our reputation within the Beechcraft community.  If you stop in, you can still meet and chat with George and Ginny Baker, as they are both in the shop and office every day, even in retirement.

Our staff would love the opportunity to work with you on your  aircraft.  No matter what model you have or what it may need, let George Baker Aviation be your first choice for maintenance providers.                              Sincerely, Curtis Boulware, Owner
